I'm Jumping In

I am happy to report that my Monkey and me have bought a house! We are really excited; it’s more than I could have asked for. Hopefully I’ll have photos up this week, we get to go look at it early this week and bring the family by. I can’t stop smiling, I feel like I glow or something. I’ve wanted a home for so long now. It’s scary too.

Like I worry about money, not a whole lot because I know my family is always there to help me out, but I really like to stand on my own feet for the most part. But I believe if you do need help just ask. Plus, my God supplies all my needs according to HIS riches and glory. So my Daddy has my back even when I don’t see it. As with everything else in life. Ha ha I’m old enough to know that that is the only thing I know for sure. I may not do everything thing right, but I know that I love him and he loves me.

I really like Psalm 91:14 (New International Version)

14 "Because he (she) loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him (her); I will protect him (her), for he (she) acknowledges my name.

It has really helped me lately with the weather problem I have, but don’t get me wrong I LOVE the fact that I will have a basement to take cover in and be able to sleep in my own house if nasty weather comes, but for the day-to-stormy-day needs, it has been a good reminder to me that I don’t have to be afraid one of two things will happen if bad weather comes, He will protect me from it, or He will bring me home. Either way not too shabby, lol.

Back to the house! It’s a little bland color wise. JustAnUglyMonkey and I both really love dark red so maybe we can paint a wall that color not sure which, maybe the master. I love greens and pumpkin, turquoise anything. We really like Pergo wood flooring. But we’ll see. My Leela cat will have so much fun running through her new house. I have pictures I want to put up one is the Singing Butler, I think it would go good in the Master. It has been one of my favorites and I think it symbolizes Monkey and me. Two people dancing in the rain while others think they are crazy. We are kids are a heart and dance to the beat of a different drum.

I’m going to miss living with Georgia and the evil Mason. We have had so many good times and this doesn’t mean they have to stop we’ll just live in two different places. She is my MOH so we’ll still have lots of wedding stuff to do. Sewing projects, movies, dinner. It’s funny, but I feel like I’ve been married to Georgia and dating Monkey. Now I’ll be married to Monkey and dating Georgia. I love my friend, my sister. But moving away from our now ghetto apartment will be another good thing for us, I swear that I heard gun shoots last night, and the neighbors below and to the side are always yelling or getting drunk and puking over the side rail. Calling the management doesn’t matter as long as they pay it seems.

I’ve loved our apartment though, we have so many memories; our words over the deck, paper lanterns, outside funny times with the neighbors and grilling, trying to watch TV through the screen door from outside, having no furniture and no cable when we first moved in, sitting on the floor watching either the local fishing channel or the DVD set of Firefly. Dumpster diving for the entertainment center in the snow with the maintain man coming over to fix our heater that had gone out and we both got sick. Dumpster diving for our bunk beds and then returning them to were they came from a year later, lol that was funny because we dragged those in, in the middle of the night from a farther dumpster and they made these awful really loud bell noises when they knocked the ground. We stayed up late and talked about everything from making up our own alphabet call words and fake occupations to religion, went on ghost hunts and shopping sprees, laughed so hard I peed and held each other when we cried. There are so many crazy things we’ve done there is no way to list them all. Adventures, all of them.

Now new adventures to add to my story, living with my best friend, a stinky boy. I have no idea what our stories will be I’m hopeful that they will be filled with lots of funny things, it’s a little scary, just like when me and Georgia moved in.

Whew, I feel like I’m at the top of a slipper slide and jumping in. But man I love slides.

Nasty Wednesday

I swear this past Wednesday was the ickiest one in awhile. It was a beautiful day outside but for some reason everyone was having a bad day. People were rude and short and in an overall funky sleepy mood, including me. Everyone bothered me and I’m not easily bothered. At one point me and Georgia went to the Olive Garden and our hostess was really rude and some chick kept staring at Georgia with a mean look on her face, I don't know maybe that was just her face.... lol. I was really feeling like I wanted to punch the next person that said anything to me, but I was good. But today is a new day and we are going to go look at more houses, my Monkey and I. We have the funkiest luck with houses. Strange things I’ve learned about all the probably hundreds of houses we have looked at are, there is always a strange pencil sharpener in the basement, a place to hide dead bodies and some strange things that the pervious owner has done that make s you raise your eyebrows such as a love of giraffes or tigers that is so great that they have them everywhere. But we know that the perfect one is out there somewhere and we’ll find it when it’s time, and at least we get to look into some pretty funny houses.

Wedding plans are going pretty good now, better than before, we love each other very much and are excited about getting married, but keep running into the problem of having the wedding some place interesting and different and the number of people we can fit into these places, before it was family now it is friends. Old friends that we wonder if they will be hurt if they are not part of the wedding party or invited to the main event, but just the awesome reception we are going to have. It will all work out.

We are thinking about having our wedding at the Argosy Casino, it is beautiful and would be different and fun, we’ve talked to them a bit and will go up there to check it out and see if the room looks like some place we would like to have our wedding at.

I did buy something cool for my honey for the wedding they are being shipped in from Hong Kong. He’ll love them.

That’s about it for now, hopping to get more of my room cleaned up this weekend and relax, this week has been a dozy.

Now I leave you with my new awesome toy and me and Georgia’s babies.

JustAnUglyMonkey bought me this Toothless dragon. I love him I went to go see the movie with Georgia. We decided that Toothless is just like Georgia's cat Mason. If you move my dragon's back legs his wings flap and his mouth moves so of course I have to make him talk to everyone.

Me and Georgia's babies were taking a nap together and I caught them. It was so cute I had to get a picture. Mason is the black evil on and Leela is my pink nosed princess. No they don't like each other, they are brother and sister.

peace!
