Energy Efficient Pets! They Care about the Environment too!

Mason has found a way to help us be more energy efficient at home. You know he is very conscious about these things. He has decided to lay across the front door in order to help keep in the AC thus saving us $$$ …….nice.

Remember the Boat Times?

Its Sunday morning and I have woken up to a beautiful sunny day and I feel the need to go lay in the sun!!! I knock on Georgia’s door and hear a some grunting and a hop out of bed and this sleepy curly haired girl appears at the door. (Georgia is not a morning gal) and I very excited asked if she wanted to come with me to lay out in the sun somewhere. At first she said no and then we both got the idea to go to the lake!! We hop into our suits like firemen in action, grab the radio and after a stop at McD’s for some sweet tea we arrive at the Lake. Now we have both been to the lake a few times, swimming, boating, birthdays and weddings, but we have never noticed that over have of the lake is dedicated to a gold course. Blah so after a lap around the lake trying to find the perfect spot we find it. It’s got boats!! So we park climb the hill and sprawl out and turn on the tunes. The water is so beautiful and peaceful and the sun feels so good. I feel like the boat photo is should be in one of those AT&T ads for how many bars you have and well yeah I have a huge forehead and I’m hot and sweaty but I’m so happy. We defiantly got some sun we both have funny tan lines on our backs from where our suits were tied. We got home and conked out and took showers. We decided that we would go out and grab something to eat and we were going to take G’s car but noticed that the rear view mirror had fallen off so we took my car, got a little bit down the street and my car started to make a funky noise. We pulled over and I have a flat tire. (great) We hop out and start to change it like pros we should have timed that craziness, there was one moment when we were both laying on the extremely hot pavement so G (Jill of all mechanical trades and random talents) could show me where to put the jack on the frame. We got it all fixed up drove home and took the less jacked up car with the rearview mirror missing. Ahh but we kick some butt let me tell you, even the cars couldn’t keep us down. Thank you God for the sunshine and wonderful friends!

The monkey monkey has turned 25!!! It was a fun day! We went to his mom and dad’s house for breakfast, it was really good MaMaMonkey makes eggs and these just aren’t any kind eggs they are special I’m not sure what is in them but you put mustard on them ohhhhh yummy. Then we went shopping for a bit and we decided to get our hairs cut it takes him like 2 seconds because he has no hair but me well I have at least 50 lbs of hair. And I knew there was something up about my hair the last time I cut it, but the hair dresser started laughing when she started to cut my hair. All the hair on the right side of my head was 2 inches longer than the other side, and I was dangerously close to having a female mullet. Yuck! So I had to get my hair cut a little shorter than I like, but I think it’s actually pretty cute. We went out to eat with our friends and then headed over to Lucky Dogs to meet up with another group of peoples!!! I can’t remember what the shot was that they gave him, but the face he made was priceless.

Oh yes it's Ladies Night, oh yes it's Ladies Night

So a few weeks ago Georgia, SharkEyesMcGee, and I went to Ladies Night at the Royals!!! I was excited because I got to wear my new jersey again. It was a blast, we lost but it was fun hanging out with the girls. We had some tasty beverages, one of which I poured down my leg, sticky. We “started” the fad of putting our feet up on the ledge. Yeah that’s how we roll. There are always those crazy guys that just seem to get nakeder over time, I wish I would have gotten a photo of it but it started with 2 guys and turned into almost a whole section, pretty drunktastic guys!

Hey!
So Just wanted to write a blog, so I actually wrote one, I'm not just like I'll write one tomorrow, just because my camera has been MIA for a bit i think that it's okay not to keep up with one of my favorite things to do! Well it's not, I've got Ladies Night at the Royals photos and stories, I've got memorial day birthdays, how Mason (demon cat) is trying to help me and G be energy efficient. (sp?) I got a new hair cut! I'm laying outside in the sun! One of my best friends wants to take sexy, flirty photos of me! (not what it sounds like, well maybe a little) and sooo much more! I've got stories to tell! so yeah I'm tying this to remind me to tell these things
.Oh! and Little Girl Cat that found me and Georgia and how we got her a new home. See! It's a good thing I wrote these down!

Lots O' Love fo Yo Ma Ma

So Mama's day was on Sunday and I got to see one of my Grandmamas and my Mama!!! I took my Poppi over to my grandma's house and we ate lunch and saw my family. It was fun! Unfortunately I forgot to take any photos...sorry Dad I know that I said I would. Too bad because I had on my hot new dress, oh well I DO have photos however of my baby, Georgia's baby, and my mom!!! Yeah!!

B, double E, double R. U-N! Beer Run!

Well, hey there! Went to a pub this past weekend with Georgia and met up with my old boss and another person that worked at Washburn.
The really fun thing about this was they had a folk singer that sang Irish songs! He was really good, but he sang the Beer Run song which was the only one I knew, and I was sooo proud! I had some video of it, but you can’t hear a thing it just sounds crazy and me making faces. But here are the photos! We had a lot of fun and I guess G and me decided that a bathroom photo shoot session needed to happen. I’m so short in photos it always looks like I’m trying to climb her or I’m falling off of her from climbing her. Weird I know. And the camera had way too much to drink so the group shot is a little funky. Or Dale’s hand had too much to drink I’m not sure who is responsible for that one… But it was fun to hang out.
