Today is day one of my new eating and vitamins.
Woke up and took like 12 vitamins this morning and it took like 2 glasses of water to get them all down. lol, but not bad I was thinking wow I’m going to feel so sick after swallowing all of these. But it wasn’t bad at all.
The doctor’s office says I weigh 202 pounds, but that’s with my clothes on.
I weighed myself at home this morning in my pjs and it says 199.6, Daily I’ll be going off of this one.
I had weighed 198 before the weekend, but we went to Lawrence for our marriage prep class and to KC for our friend’s birthday. I figured I’d make that my last hurrah, and boy did we!

Today I’ve eaten my apple cinnamon oatmeal for breakfast. It’s okay, a little bland so I’ve added some Splenda and more cinnamon. The consistency is really weird a little bit like cream of wheat and oatmeal together, but they warned me about that. So that was not too bad. Next week I think I’ll look into a bar or sausage egg and cheese thing.
I’ve gone to Walmart and I picked me up a handy dandy Hamilton Beach Single serve blender that you use the mixer as the cup. Never used one of these before, but it’s really nice and only $14.00. Made a Mint Chocolate shake. Super yummy! I think next time I’ll mix the mix with water and then add it to the ice. Got little chunks of mix in the bottom of it this time, but wasn’t bad.
I got kind of hungry so I opened my afternoon snack before lunch... they are soy nuts and I ate a few then went and made my lunch about a half an hour later. It was chicken noodle soup and it was really good. Felt pretty full afterwards.
Ate some more of my soy nuts and drank my Iced Tea package also for the rest of the afternoon. Didn’t get hungry.
Home is creamy chicken noodle soup with veggies and then my evening snack of smores!!
More vitamins before bed. I need bigger vitamin holders mine don’t hold all of my pills. But not a bad day.
This weekend was a ton of fun! JustAnUglyMonkey and I had our marriage prep course. It was okay. Okay it was boring and the best part about it was that Justin and I got to take a mini vacation. It was fun being with him and laughing about our answers. That was the good thing that came out of this weekend. Making fun of our marriage prep class. It did have really good information for new couples or couple who already don’t live together. But we’ve been together for 10 years now and have discussed pretty much all of the topics they had there. One other thing that I’m so greatful for the meeting was Monkey wrote me a love letter, granted we had to write each other love letters, but it’s my favorite thing. It’s so funny and yet sweet. It’s the best love letter I’ve ever gotten.
We also got to go to KC and see Lincoln Lawyer. It was a great movie!! Before the show we went to eat dinner with our friends at Longhorns. We ate like Kings and Queens! We had stuffed mushrooms and spicy shrimps for appetizers and steaks, salads, and home style macaroni and cheese. We all had tasty drinks, it was a Blue Moon with oranges weekend for my Monkey and Bud Lite for our friend and Margaritias for us girls!! The drinks came with rock candy stirrers so of course we had to have a couple of those.
We got to the movie early so we headed over to the theater’s bar for some more tasty beverages. I got something called a Christmas Carol, that was pretty much hot chocolate with every alcohol under the sink. I was very warm and toasty drinking it. We had about an hour to kill before the movie so I pulled out my handy dandy pack of cards and we played Bullshit. I actually won once!
Movie was good, feel a little bit asleep at the end, but it was wasn’t because the movie was boring, it was just me. Sunday we all gathered up and went to the Argosy for brunch. We almost didn’t make it in time to get in for the breakfast price, but it turned out to be a birthday miracle and they let us have it since we were in line.
Breakfast/Brunch was Amazing! Knowing that it was my last day of eating whatever I wanted I pretty much grabbed a place of each dessert and took a bite of them all. It was too much fun.
We went shopping after that. We got some great wedding cake toppers at the Converse store and some really squishy flip-flops for me. We helped our friends look at bunk beds for their little girls, but all Monkey found was this awesome baseball chair, until he found the football one!
Well that’s all for now little Spring chicks!
