So I’ve had one epic fail after another this week. I’ve been so sleepy we’ve had people over the house almost every day since last Friday. I am so pooped. I took little boy to the vet on Wednesday and I’ll get him back this Saturday, I’m worried about him, but I go visit him each day and he’s doing fine, I’m just ready for him to be home and see what his personality is like.
The house has suffered for all of my sleepiness, laundry needs to be done and floors need swept and vacuumed. Eh, it will get done, I’m going to curl up and sleep in this weekend, I’ll probably curl up tonight and finally watch Julie and Julia tonight, maybe make some spaghetti for dinner that sounds really good.
So some of my funny fails:
JustAnUglyMonkey ran out of boy soap and deodorant so he told me what kind he wanted, and specifically said no gel deodorant please. Sure okay.
I go to the store and go to pick out deodorant and I get excited because it’s on sale AND a two pack!!! So I grab a pack of Dove for me and a pack of Old Spice for Monkey and a 2 pack of boy soap in the same smell. While walking around I saw that the same kind of underwear that Monkey wears to work was on sale, Sweet! I thought and grabbed up a pack, thinking I heard him say that he needed some more. I picked up a few more things that I needed checked out and went on home. So later that night after work my monkey comes out of his bathroom, and says I love you and I appreciate everything you do for me, but you grabbed gel deodorant. Uh oh, FAIL. Then the next day I get a call from Monkey and he’s laughing, you know that underwear that I was so proud that I got on sale yadda, yadda, yadda? Yeah they were little boy underwear. FAIL.
Yes, Yes I need to have a nap.
