Yo You Stank!

I would like to bring up the matter of body odor. Okay so call my olfactory glands or whatever overly sensitive, but I don’t like stink. Yes, I have weird smells that I like, like gasoline ahahhhh yeah, if it weren’t so expensive I would go back to splashing some on the grown just so I could smell it. BUT lately the world has been filled with people that have been riding the B&O railroad. I can’t help it, it smells bad and cigarette smoke too I can’t help it I can smell it everywhere. Now I love people so I can get over myself and talk to them or be nice, but if I get light headed or keel over I’m sorry people, use some deodorant, take a bath, take a tick tack. A tick, a tack you need the whole pack, Listerine, not a swig not a swallow you need the whole damn bottle. Soap people I know it’s hard times but for the love of Pete and my poor girly nose buy a chunk or two an rinse, lather and repeat! Ok I’m done.

It’s been a rather nice day, the Blonde and Poppi came to see me at work today, We watched The Good Life at lunch I so look forward to it, and Georgia might get off work early today. It’s going to rain, but I’ll be all right. I’m doing good.

Oh I’m also on the house hunt and here is my plan: (which is better than Georgia’s recent plan lol) (There was a lot of work up for her amazing plan she had to tell me and it went something like, Georgia, “Step one we get together and go out.”  Long pause…. Me, “and step 2?” Georgia, “Well that’s as far as I got.”

BUT! House plan is if and only IF we find something we like,

1. We buy house that we love before November 30 to be able to get the $8,000 from government.
2. We will have to get help from the powers that be for the down payment, BUT we will pay back when we get the $8,000
3. Georgia and I move into the house while JustAnUglyMonkey is living at his apartment.
4. JustAnUglyMonkey moves in after we get married and he fulfils his contract thingies at the apartment.
5. Extra money goes to wedding and house stuff
6. Amanda has a basement and a garage and a place to call her own and a backyard so she can have a garden. JustAnUglyMonkey has his own garage so he can work on cars and we can have trick or treaters and parties, paint walls, decorate rooms, actually own something instead of rent it!
7. Sadly the beautiful Georgia will leave us even though we love her so much and I’ll miss her too much and even thinking about it will make me cry, but I know why she has to. BUT our cats have to have play dates so she has to stay close.

So yeah that’s my plan, but if the right house isn’t out there right now then so be it, and the perfect one will come around later.

I am also trying very hard to go to Jazzercise more, I love it it’s tons of fun, and it’s helping tone my bodacious bod. Ha ha because to refuse to look like a blob forever, especially on my wedding Jazzer-thighs here I come. 

Ouch

I think I have weird aches everywhere. JustAnUglyMonkey and his roommate…hmmm he doesn’t have a name yet…..what to call him…..FaFa The Lady Killer, but for short we will call him FaFa. So JustAnUgly Monkey and FaFa moved to a new apartment so from Wednesday to Saturday ugh, and it just so happens that they now live on the 3^rd floor. I’m SOOOO happy that Mama Monkey got them the same movers that she had when they moved because there is no way that we would have gotten their furniture up there without injury. Georgia helped move also, so us being the amazing ladies that we are had to make T-shirts for the occasion. Our moving shirts are my favorite ones yet. They say, “T and A Movers” on the front and  “Put your junk in my trunk" on the back then on the arms we have our moving names mine, Carl, and Georgia’s Mark.  We have decided that Carl and Mark are bowling buddies and they get together on Thursday nights to play and complain about work and their wives. (I know we’re a little messed up, but it makes life more interesting.) Carl and Mark also go fishing a few times a year, Mark owns the boat, I think. Yeah we can’t just put on some clothes and help people move we have to make clothes and then our clothes need to not only be amazing they need to have an amazing back-story. (Camera out of batteries again! Hopefully I’ll get you a photo of them because they are pretty awesome.)

So we moved the boy’s house, it’s sad though they are much farther away they used to be down the road and now they are across the city. Lamb sad. It’s not too bad, but he is farther away.

Georgia, JustAnUglyMonkey and I went to look at houses on Saturday and found a nice one, I don’t know if we’ll get it, I would like to keep looking but I could live there. It was funny because our favorite house had books about Hitler everywhere and what looked like a baby coffin in the garage….ok there weren’t Hitler books everywhere, but there were some. I think the people were very political or something… but it was fun and at least I get to know what JustAnUglyMonkey likes in a house. I would like to find one by his November for me and Georgia to live in and then when we get married JustAnUglyMonkey moves in. But we will see only if the house is the one.

Georgia and me have also cleaned our carpets in our apartment this weekend and rearranged our furniture. Ouch. I have the weirdest pinch in my neck I can’t turn my head left! But the house looks good! And we watched all of season 2 of Dairy of a Call Girl. Which is amazing!!!  

The Blog in Which I Say Ding! Alot

So I think we might have a better idea of what we want to do. I think we might go with the Royals. But I feel like we haven’t hit a very good compromise. I don’t feel like we both really like it. JustAnUglyMonkey wants to do something nontraditional, and I think that would be fun too. I don’t think boys understand how much a wedding costs, what they think would be cheep isn’t, anything that is out of the norm you are going to pay for, norm you are going to pay for.  $$$ ding ding ding. Heck I’m not that far into it and I’m debating getting into a dress and wandering over to the courthouse. I want something pretty, I feel like if we went to Vegas it would be slightly tacky and then we would come home and have a keggar. Where’s my pretty? I don’t want to have a wedding and feel like I’m still waiting for my wedding. I know everything isn’t going to be exactly the way either one of us wants. I just wish something perfect would hop out of the sky and a light bulb would come on and both of us would be like DING! That’s it! And everything will fall into place, and we both could be excited about it. Doesn’t feel like that yet, I’m not above waiting till it does. But it does make planning a downer, I like to plan, I like to see things fall into place. I like to know where I’m going, for the most part. I wish there was a way to make everyone happy. But there’s not. I have a huge family and I would like to invite everyone I feel like everyone would expect an invite, but I don’t know if that is going to work out now. And if I don’t invite everyone to the wedding (Magic Show, sorry got another idea) I will want them to come to the reception, but if the reception is like a kegger that will be disappointing, because if they didn’t get to see me get married I would at least like to have something nice for them. GRRRRRRRRR!!!!! And I feel like planning this has been all on my shoulders, because I have to decide how much of my family I want to be there, and I don’t think anyone knows how hard it is for me to decide that. I feel like everyone wants me to choose between my family and my new family. Usually my family does everything together and I would want them all to be there it’s a big event, I’m a very family person, and JustAnUglyMonkey has a small family and although his mom, dad, sister and grandparents we see quite often he doesn’t see his aunts, uncles and cousins like I do. They get together on well…Christmas. I see my whole family on days like it’s a birthday, because it’s Tuesday, Grandma made tamales and every Holiday. Granted I see my Poppi’s side of the family more than the Blonde’s but I love them very much too, they are just farther away, and my Grandpa is already gone on that side of the family and I still have my grandma and I want her to see me get married. So yeah, anyone have any amazing ideas for a crazy unique wedding that could hold a lot of people and wouldn’t cost a bunch?!?!?!??!? I’m open for Ideas. Really. AND what if I’m planning for all of these people and no one comes? I have about 70-80 immediate family and I’m pretty sure the majority of them will come, but what if that comes out to be like 30? And that’s doesn’t count our friends.  I never understood why people got all worked up about weddings, and now I do, it’s hard to squish all family and likes of each person into an event. I’m looking forward to the blog that says, “ahhh it’s all over it’s was so much fun! And beautiful and crazy! But now I’m happily married and now we can start looking forward to the next few years of people asking us when we are going to have kids.”  I’m closing my eyes and trying to see it. HEY! We have one thing in common we want to have a dance and dollar dance. I’m excited about that, and I’m really looking forward to that part because that’s the really fun part.

Wedding Bell Thoughts

Well wedding planning is underway… sort of.  We are in a rock and a hard spot or something.  Back in the day we were going to get married at a royals game and then have a big party and then getting married in Vegas came up and then we were all gun hoe for that, but then I got to thinking and I didn’t want my family (Because there are so many of them) to actually see me get married, and I know they could see me when we got by for the reception, but it is so special to see someone actually get married, but then again it’s a ton of fun to go crazy and go to Vegas…maybe. But I just don’t want to feel like I’m on a wedding conveyer belt. 

So, here are my thoughts.  If we were to get married at the Royals game, more of our families could come, it would be different and new and everyone would remember it.  It would also be less cost on our guests, a 1000 round trip ticket to Vegas that is not including hotel and rentals or a drive up to KC? So! And I’m not saying this to be petty but It’s the truth, I think if we were to go to Vegas people would go, but I could hardly expect them to go and then give us a gift, so if they don’t have to travel = better gifts. Okay I’ve said it.  Plus, they would get entertained a BASEBALL GAME!!!! How amazing will those pictures be?!?!? I just want one of my beautiful dress and me with sunglasses on sitting holding a beer and a hot dog, can you see it? CAN YOU!?!? Try harder! Okay not that hard now you’re just creeping me out. 

Okay and back to outfits, JustAnUglyMonkey can where his white Jersey and Kaki shorts and his men can wear the dark blue jersey and kaki shorts, my girls would wear the dark blue jersey and denim mini skirts, and of course me and my white dress. Actually everyone can show up naked for as much as I care. Lol then go back to the Lodge in town have a bonfire and a costume change dollar dance, cake food a PARTY!!!  THEN! The week after the wedding we get us and all of our wedding party/ friends and family that want to go and go to Vegas! And get married in the craziest way we can think of. And then we can be all crazy and amazing like we want and beautiful and unique and my family like I would like. Doesn’t that sound like a blast? I think so. So we’ll see. And I have a ton of really good baseball themed wedding stuff!  Mini baseball bat for the girls to hold, large glass vases with baseballs in them. I could have little baseballs painted on my toes.

 I could go on and on, me and Georgia sat on the porch talking about all of the different things we could do. and there are tons and if i started making and shopping for things now it would be really awesome!

Um so who knew you can bury a guy and get a house?

JustAnUglyMonkey’s family was trying to sell their house and buy a new one and having trouble.  I didn’t know this being baptized a Catholic and going to mass when I was little, but then my family starting going to a non-denominational church yadda yadda yadda, but! If you bury St. Joseph upside down and in the direction of the new home he will help you sell your house. So nice of him right? They got a good offer and they got the new house. I’m helping them move this weekend! It was pretty fun times burying him J My camera got a little foggy my friend.

Welcome to the My Great Outdoors!

So I was outside laying in the sun and I got to thinking that I LOVE my families backyard. I grew up with apple, cherry and pear trees, grape vines, strawberries, and melons! So I thought I would show it off. Enjoy and please excuse my creepy sweaty face…..

Wildlife....sort of…

Ok so I’m lumping animals together. My mom and dad’s kitties are getting so big and I love my furry brothers! My dad loves these little boys so much. They each have their own bean bag chairs to sleep and watch TV in.  And then there are some chicks…..they hatched at work… cheep, cheep, cheep could be heard alllllll day.

Could that Cake get and Bigger? And wow I have a large family… maybe why the big cake…

Father’s Day was a lot of fun. A few days before my Poppi and I went and ordered this gigantic cake for all of the dad’s in our family, and let me tell you there are a lot! We put all of their names on it. Also, that same weekend I think…. Was my Aunt’s birthday most of us headed out to the steak house and what I realized then is that we have a huge family… but we have so much fun and I love them all. I don’t even think I got us all in a photo.

I Only Came for the Food!

So I had to share this, my little Blonde had to go to the hospital, (check up, everything is good) but when she got out she was loopy from the anesthetics and she got warm cookies and juice, I have video, but I have decided not to embarrass the little Blonde, so I’ll tell you the cutest thing she said captured right before this photo, “I only came for the food”

Short Baby, Short

I got a new hair cut! I think it’s light and cute! Sassy! And guess who did it! GEORGIA! She’s so talented! I think when it gets to be fall I'll grow it out for the wedding though.

Bling, Bling ya’ll!

So here is my BEA-U-Tiful ring! It’s a classic round solitaire. JustAnUglyMonkey gave it to me in this wonderful wooden box that his papa (grandpa) refinished, Mom has the photos….grrr. but! Here it and I love it, in photos it kind of looks like yellow gold but it’s white. So I’m pretty proud and happy to be wearing it, signaling aircrafts and such ya know the usual.
