Wedding Bells for Becky!

My cousin’s wedding was this weekend. It was simple and beautiful. As Kansas crazy weather goes it was supposed to be a 70ish degree-day, but it was windy and cold. It stormed a little later in the day but the wedding and the reception were perfect. Becky and Brent got married in the little Baptist church right down the street from my Aunt’s house where her and my grandmother live in this big beautiful Victorian. Dad was camera crazy and took a million pictures; he was so funny taking pictures of everyone. The ceremony was pretty short and sweet, the little ring bearers held each a side of a pillow and looked like ornery little boys and the flower girls looked like little princesses. One little flower girl just dumped out all of her petals in the back of the church and then decided to pick them all back up, it was pretty funny, but she make it back down the isle.

My cousin Becky came in and looked amazing and so happy. Her brother, John, was the pastor for the wedding and it was the first one he ever did! He did great it was funny and sweet! Perfect!

I wore white flip-flops because I couldn’t find any of my pretty strapped sandals! Oh well at least they were comfortable. (Pic of mom and I, I forgot to zoom back out)

After the ceremony the Blondie and I hoped in to the car and chases and honked at the newlyweds, usually everyone joins in and chases them, but it was only mom and me. Well I’m happy we wished them good luck! (Plus I think the Blondie was the only one who could catch up with them)

We went the reception and mom and I were responsible for cutting the cake which either of us has ever done, but I thought we got pretty good at it by the end. Oh! My cousin John (the preacher) has this same sandwich FOR-EV-ER! Like he walked all over with this sandwich, it was so weird!

So enjoy the pics and the videos of this day!

Ah but it was a pretty long day and after we hung out we went home and I slept all the way there.
