So St. Patty’s day was a blast, although we have decided that there has to be major overhaul on the requirements for who or what can be in the parade. Because if we saw one more soccer mom’s SUV with one piece of green crape paper tied to their antenna, with all the windows rolled up, not waving with no candy we were going to scream. In fact I’m pretty sure we did. But it wasn’t all bad there were some pretty funny ones, many that had trailers mocked up to look like bars with everyone drinking on board, complete with port-a-potty! Then there were these older couple in a convertible with something like married 50 years today! Written on the side they were so cute, which gave me the idea. Maybe we could get married next St. Patty’s day on a parade float! Okay JustAnUglyMonkey didn’t seem to go for the idea, but I thought it might be unusual and fun! Who knows! The bed races were funny and really cold, Georgia and I were up bright and early to go see them. I forgot my camera so all St. Patty photos were done on my phone. Ick but at least I got em! Georgia and I stopped of at a
coffee shop and grabbed massive amounts of coffee and breakfast and sat with a celebrity. We then met up with our buddies and watched the parade then hit a few bars then walked down the street for some lunch. Yeah at 9 am we party like rock stars. At lunch we all told embarrassing stories of our friend “Crayola” (or guy with the green eye)
who is about to get married. At one point we were ready for our checks and to-go boxes I was messing around and yelled something like “Hey Get Me a Box!” and randomly pointed. Well at the other end of my finger was a little shy waitress who nodded and scurried away. It was so funny because I totally didn’t mean to yell at anyone, but moments later tiny waitress came up with arms full of boxes and wouldn’t look at us. Okay maybe it’s funnier when you are full of green beer and shots that came out of a tiny shiny green mug you’re wearing around your head.
It was a good day. But boy I was sleepy!
Thursday JustAnUglyMonkey had off so we went shopping in KC! It was fun; we had a Cheeseburger in Paradise. I got my water spilled all over me, but our waiter was a good sport. We decided to re-decorate the restaurant and paint the ceiling black and put in little lights that flickered and the sound of the ocean in the background, other than that it was perfect.
JustAnUglyMonkey and I got some amazing shoes! He has a pair of Navy
and I have these amazing skulls with red head bows! Monkey tried his luck at denim…. Sexy now all he has to do is grow a mullet for the real hotness to set in… Then this past weekend we went to the Argosy Casino with our friends for Danny’s birthday!!!

I forgot to take pictures for the most part though oops so this is what you get! Monkey and I didn’t win anything but our friends did, which was nice because it was her birthday! More shopping and then home again, home again!
